Snaefellsnes Peninsula HEALTH & Hiking Adventure
Snaefellnes Peninsula means the Snowy Peninsula.
Itinerary: Our day begins with pickup from your accommodation in Reykjavik. We'll drive through the picturesque Icelandic countryside to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, known as "Iceland in Miniature" due to its diverse landscapes.
Arnarstapi Village & Gatklettur Arch: Our first stop is the charming fishing village of Arnarstapi, where we'll hike along the rugged coastline and admire the natural beauty of the Gatklettur Arch.
Hellnar Village & Sea Cliffs: We continue our hike to the neighboring village of Hellnar, enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding sea cliffs teeming with birdlife.
Djupalonssandur Black Sand Beach: Next, we'll hike to Djupalonssandur, a stunning black sand beach with unique rock formations and a rich history.
Kirkjufell Mountain: Our final hike takes us to the base of the iconic Kirkjufell Mountain, one of Iceland's most photographed landmarks.
Return to Reykjavik: We'll end our adventure with a scenic drive back to Reykjavik, arriving in the evening.
